Summary:
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is a critical and highly skilled advanced practice nurse specializing in anesthesia care. CRNAs play an essential role in the healthcare system, providing anesthesia services to patients across various medical settings, including hospitals, surgical centers, and pain management clinics.
Responsibilities:
Anesthesia Administration: CRNAs are responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. They ensure that patients receive the appropriate type and dosage of anesthesia for safe and effective pain management.
Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Before, during, and after procedures, CRNAs thoroughly assess patients' medical histories, current health statuses, and responses to anesthesia. They continually monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Education:
BSN required.
Experience:
1year CRNA experience
Certifications / Licensure:
